My mother and I had a wonderful experience dining here. I had the lobster ravioli and my mom had chicken flat bread pizza. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. Good food, wine and great customer service will definitely be back!!!

I came here because I found out it was under new ownership and is now black own. I'm a little tired of the Foodies recommending these businesses and the food looks great, then you go there and it's a whole different experience. This is my second time going through this. We came here around 1:30. I wish I had taken a pic of the shrimp and grits to compare it to the pic on there website, It was totally different. The shrimp and grits I was served look like a bowl of soup. Tiny cooked shrimp, hardly any spinach hardly any tomatoes and the Cajun cream sauce was not good at all, and that grits cake didn't pull the dish together at all. I make shrimp and grits at home, and mine was much better and I'm just a home cook. My friend had the grill chicken sandwich and the bread was burnt. I wanted to try something different, and that's exactly what I got. $18 for a bowl of soup. Really. The sever brought out bread and butter, but didn't notice that we had no plates to use to eat with. I will say that the drinks were good. I Don't know if I would go back and I live in the area.

I am dreaming about the Chicken Marie I had here! I very seldom repeat going back to a restaurant, only because we live in area where there are so many to try. Yeah, not this one. I have already made plans to take more friends here. Everything was that good! Right down to their homemade salad dressings. Bravo!

My husband made an 11 am reservation. Our server was Evette. She gave the most excellent customer service. The food was amazing! We had spinach dip, it's served with warm bread. We both had burgers. I had the black and blue burger, my husband had just a regular burger, both were so juicy and cooked to perfection. We will definitely return.

In an attempt to patronize Restaurants in Flossmoor where I live I decided to try Bistro on Sterling since being under new management. I ordered the shrimp and grits and it was absolutely the worst version of shrimp and grits I’ve ever had. I love Cajun cuisine shrimp, and grits are one of my favorites. Unfortunately, when I received it, it was like some sort of yellow soup A top of a grit patty and these little bitty hard shrimp. Oh, don’t let me forget there was a lot of spinach. I did not understand how it was put together. The flavors were bland, not cohesive and just wrong. I don’t know who the chef is but they have not a clue on what this dish is supposed to taste like and I will not go back When the food is lacking in flavor and presentation. The size of the shrimp was laughable. You don’t use the smallest of shrimp with this dish perhaps 4 to 5 large or jumbo shrimp but that’s not what I got absolutely no seasoning very disappointing.

It's about time that I can say that I actually enjoyed my dining experience at a black owned restaurant. Thank you to Chef Yvette and your staff for what was a fun and delicious dining out experience with my family. My wife and I both enjoyed our meals as well as appreciate the feel good customer service. This will surely be one of my new go to restaurants when me or the Mrs don't feel like cooking lol. Those drinks were lit too. five stars all around the board guys

This has to be one of the worst experiences I have had in a long time. It’s unfortunate because we had read such great things and were looking forward to trying a new restaurant in the neighborhood. When we arrived the waitress told us the list of what wasn’t available which amounted to about 1/3 of the menu. Service was pretty slow. The food we did order was not hot and on average, not good.
When we spoke to the manager her explanation is that the same amount of food is prepped everyday. However we made a 7pm reservation for 10 people. Therefore I would think that there would be food available to order from the entire menu at 7pm.
I felt that the owner, who came out next, was a little more apologetic but overall I didn’t feel a lot of empathy from her or the manager.
Unfortunately we will not be back.
