Went to a Bucs Game today. I can not tell you how bad a job the Tampa Police did controlling traffic. Like it was the worst experience I have ever had to deal with. Tampa police put zero effort into controlling the traffic situation. Not only before game, but after as well. Tampa PD can suck it. Really… they aren’t doing much else

They don't seem to take reports of someone threatening others with a gun and physically assaulting people seriously at all. This is downright shameful and only validating what the public thinks of the police. If you're reading this, please look at their statement regarding an animal rescue that was threatened with violence and a gun to their head. This is lazy and shameful. I will be filing a report with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement regarding how this was handled, or more like how it WASN'T handled.

So, Tampa police believe that a person who knows their rights, "is playing the game" ?

That's a pretty sad assessment of your job at the Tampa police station.

Maybe to you guys it's a game, but to us civilians, it's our rights.

Now go make me a sandwich, biatch.

We had a great chance to meet and chat with some of the officers at an event we were at. They added security and peace of mind during our time in Tampa and I so appreciate them taking the time to chat with us. Thank you guys for all that you do in our community!

I've had nothing but great experiences with these officers. They've been there when I needed help and looked out for me on many occasions. Civilians don't understand the amount of hard work, risk and sacrifice our officers put in to keep Tampa streets as great as they are.

Your work does not go unnoticed team.

Within a 2 week span, there has been 2 accidents on the east end of the Gandy bridge. Both accidents caused more than an hour delay? Why? Because Tampa PD failed to direct traffic. They would rather just block a lane with their car and sit in it. Why would it be hard to get out of your vehicle and direct traffic to mitigate wait times? Please do better.

Some of your officers, specially those who work near or around the Amalie Arena in Downtown Tampa, have ZERO people skills. Too much power when they’re in uniform that’s disgusting.

You expect the people to respect your officers but unfortunately they don’t do any effort to gain that, in some cases.

You must learn the skill of communication and treat people nicely.

Our senior friend’s daughter called Tampa Police last night 2/14/24 because no one had heard from him since 8:00AM. She lives in another state and asked if they could go to the handicapped parking lot at Hard Rock to see if his car was there. She had already contacted Hard Rock Security and was told to call TPD.
In turn, TPD said to call Pasco County Sheriff who said to call Tampa PD.
No thanks to any of those departments, he was found unconscious at Tampa General because he had gone into cardiac arrest at the casino around noon.
All of these departments need to get it together and figure out who is suppose to do what. Shame on everyone!!!!!!
