The process to be seen by a doctor is extremely frustrating and wildly inefficient. The front desk staff is not helpful or receptive to feedback. I had been sent here earlier in the week and they were unable to see me until I came back with my X-ray images on a disc because their X-ray machine was broken. I was told that I could come in as walk in at my leisure. When I did that a couple days later, I was told I had to schedule an appt. for later that day. I asked if I could schedule for a day that was more convenient for me, and was told that they only accept walk-ins. Confused? .er.
In addition to this frustration, I found that they had lost the six page intake form that they had asked me to fill out previously. They claimed that there were issues with their system and asked me to fill it out again. I didn’t want to but we compromised that I would only need to fill out the first page. After scheduling my “walk-in” appointment and moving other appts around, I got a electronic link sent to my phone asking me to fill out the same 6 page form!!! In an effort to thwart off another problem with the form, I filled it out again on my phone. It was extremely frustrating and shared this with the receptionist and gave them the feedback that they should advise people to fill out the form online for the ease and efficiency of everyone involved. This feedback was not taken well and the “receptionist” argued about the process rather than being understanding or taking the feedback and seeing how it could improve the customer experience.
This all being said, I didn’t have to wait long once I was in there and the doctor was great. My main complaint is with the intake process and thoughtlessness of the front desk staff. This is not a WALK IN CLINIC. If you plan to walk in go early or plan to walk in and make an appointment the same day. Dumbest process ever.
