I don't even know where to begin. The care, the patience, the attention to detail, the empathy.... I'm in awe. My cat Clio needed emergency care and they took him in quickly, and got him everything he needed. They explained everything thoroughly, making sure we knew exactly what was going on. They gave him the best care and then referred us to another amazing clinic to get further treatment.

I have been taking my cats here for a few years now, and have never received anything but top of the line care. These are incredible people who love these pets as their own. Thank you Riverside!!!

Couldn't recommend them more!! We've come in for regular exams and urgent visits. My dog is very nervous and every time we have been here, the staff has been so gentle and patient. They take great care of him. Each doctor is highly knowledgeable, thorough, explains your options, shows you the cost.

My lineage of beloved cats have been patients of Riverside Veterinary Care for many years. I cannot say enough about the quality of care they have all received. The latest are Ben and Jerry, who just had dental work done, including an extraction for Jerry. Their long-time vet, Dr. Christina East, and the staff at Riverside were simply extraordinary. Dr. East is very knowledgeable, skillful, and compassionate. The staff are kind and efficient. Follow-up is right on time. I don't think there is a finer veterinary hospital in the City. Riverside Veterinary Care on Columbus is by far the best clinic I have been to with my pet. Their veterinarians and staff are very knowledgeable and professional and they do a great job putting anxious pets and pet parents at ease. The office team makes communication and scheduling easy and they are always fair and transparent with pricing.

Honestly, as a regular vet office, they are amazing. My dog has anxiety at most vets and here he was totally fine and allowed everything to be performed without an issue. The doctor was also super friendly and amazing. 5 stars in that sense.

What I didn’t like, is that after a 1k+ bill, I was recommended to go to a hospital for a consultation from an orthopedic… please remove “Orthopedic Surgery” from your services because clearly you dont provide that service if I have to go elsewhere. 1 star in this sense.

EDIT: Added 1 star back because I wasn't aware they still do orthopedic surgeries! Wish I knew beforehand though and went straight to a hospital instead rather than pay 3 separate consultations. Thank you so much though!!!!!!!!

Lucius was comfortable, and his Vet remembered him. The new location is ample easy to get to and very clean. Our visit was prompt, informative, and affordable. We both left happy and satisfied with Lucius's clean bill of health!

Just had our first visit and I am blown away!!! My 70-lb bully mix, Ferdinand, absolutely hates vet visits and this is the only office that made him feel comfortable enough to even be touched. Dr. East & Jessica were incredibly kind and understanding, even when Ferdie started to act out which I felt so bad about. He didn't need a muzzle during the exam which was shocking because we've tried 4 other vets in the city this year alone, and none of them were able to lay a single finger on him. Dr. East & Jessica sat on the floor with Ferdie and were super reassuring with him the entire time. Even when he started to snap at them, they were so calm and patient as opposed to all the other vets we've tried who got offended and refused to try comforting him. You can tell they truly love animals and had my dog's best interests in mind. The ladies at the front desk were also so lovely. Would highly recommend to anyone on the search for a new vet, especially if you have an anxious baby like mine. I am so grateful I found this office - finally one that I trust and plan to go back to. Thank you to the entire RVCOC team!
