Specific shout out to Aaron the Manager.

We had bought a battery awhile ago from here and got the extra warranty. We went right before Thanksgiving while we were under warranty and the battery was testing low but he thought maybe it was due to the corrosion on the terminals and the alternator was also testing fine. He cleaned the terminals and had us test it out after. It worked fine for a day but then the battery wasn’t working again. The holidays came up and we just got a bit busy and couldn’t take it back yet. Only a couple days out of warranty now we were able to get it back to them but when we called one of the employees who answered absolutely refused to help us and was very rude about how we were out of warranty despite going in already while in warranty and flat out said nope not our problem anymore.

Turns out Aaron was the gentleman who tested our battery, alternator and cleaned our terminals last time and thankfully was available when I decided to go in and speak with a manager.

He tested it out and sure enough battery wasn’t good and he went above and beyond to get us taken care of. He replaced the battery right there for us and put it in our truck. He is a great employee, awesome customer service and truly an asset to O’Reilly’s. Can’t say the same for the other guy but Aaron will be the reason they will continue to get our business!

I bought this O'Reilly's battery 22 months ago (has 14 months left on its warranty). When my vehicle died, I went to O'Reilly's and they told me "battery's fine, even charged it for you." What they ignored was that AutoZone used two different testers to confirm the battery was bad (not all 6 cells are functioning) and O'Reilly's didn't want to honor the warranty. Shocker right

"No sir, this battery is good." - O'Reilly's staff that was about to leave my family on the side of the road.

Guess what happened next? ...my battery "that is fine" died. Family stranded. Thanks O'Reilly's!

Another $300, this time to AutoZone, and I am on 20 consecutive starts without issue.

DO NOT SHOP AT O'REILLY'S! Go to AutoZone next door where they WON'T leave your family stranded like they did mine, just for the sake of their precious warranty.

Store assistant manager told me the wrong oil and filter even after using vehicle VIN to look up the vehicle. Just go next door where they care a bit more and will get you the correct parts.

He checked my battery and then helped me install a new one, definitely went above and beyond!

These guys are good. At 1st, I thought they were a bunch of knuckleheads. But as I discussed my situations, I was wrong. The gentlemen use the same search engine as I do, and they take the time to ensure the part is correct and explain the process of parts being ordered.
