Amazing customer service. I don’t know much about running shoes but I need to start doing something for my health so running works for me. I went there and was educated about how they are supposed to feel and what to look for. I’m so happy with my purchase. I will come back for sure.

as soon as you walk in, it's clear to see which section holds what product making it easy to browse and find what you're looking for. The staff was very attentive as each of them were able to approach every customer and offer their assistance.

I purchased a very nifty rechargeable flashlight, but would definitely return for some durable outdoor pants and camping equipment. The fact that this is a locally owned mom and pop shop, where mom actually came out and said hi to me, I implore everyone who is looking for sporting goods mostly to do with outdoor stuff to shop here.

There are no words to express how thankful I am to have stopped by Good Sports Outdoor Outfitters today. Jordan helped me find the perfect running shoes and more importantly, find relief for the first time in months. I’ve been struggling with terrible foot pain and it’s only worsened with the summer heat and humidity. My feet hurt in every shoe that I owned, including my new running shoes. The sneaker toebox was too small and my feet developed painful bunions on both sides. I found it difficult to run and lift weights at the gym. I ordered so many sneakers from Amazon only to return them one by one. I was desperate for a solution.

I called Good Sports and Jordan picked up the phone. I explained my situation and that I was looking for shoes with a larger toebox. I started asking him questions about the brand Topo. He was very knowledgeable about the brand. I rushed over to the store and just as I suspected, Jordan was as helpful in person as he was over the phone. He immediately recognize that the running socks likely exacerbated by pain because of the design, width, and material. He gave me a new sock brand and the moment I slipped the socks on, I was relieved from foot pain for the first time in 6-9 months. I couldn’t believe what a difference it made. It’s like the socks were personally designed for me.

He helped me explore the Topo shoes, explained how the different models varied, and why certain models were better for my foot shape. He measured my feet very precisely and pointed out what we needed to achieve to relieve some of the pain. The very first pair of shoes that he put on my feet felt like heaven. No exaggeration, the combination of the sock and the shoe was incredible—haven’t felt that good in years. I laughingly told him I felt like “I could cry from happiness.” Apparently, I’m not the only customer who’s said that! ?

I’m so thankful for Jordan’s help. He was able to fix my issue within one visit to the store. Months of pain are literally gone! I can’t wait to get back to long distance running, lifting, and lots of physical activity! I’m absolutely thrilled with the customer service and the outcome. Thank you Jordan!

Fricken awesome store run by absolute amazing people! They have a great selection of gear with some brands that Iv only seen in their store like Mystery Ranch and their Benchmade knife selection will make your wallet cry. Jennifer in particular was incredibly sweet and very helpful, Highly recommend to any outdoor/knife enthusiast!

Check them out!! There is a noticeable difference here in comparison to the usual outdoor chain retailers - high quality brands/products, very friendly staff, and a dedication to the local area/population. If you look for good deals, there was a sizable selection of marked down (high quality) items. Also, that 10% military discount is pretty awesome! We happened to stop by to check them out before we hit REI down the road — no desire to shop at REI again. Thank you, we appreciate you!!!
