Great Food, Perfect for Groups, and Fantastic Outdoor Seating

Union on Yale was an amazing spot for a group outing! We tried a variety of dishes, including the Forest Floor pizza, Pesto with Chicken, Crack Mac and Cheese, and the Mason Jar Pizza, a fun build-your-own pizza dish. Everything was delicious and really hit the spot. We brought a large group of college students, and everyone left happy and full. The service was fantastic, and the outdoor seating created the perfect laid-back vibe for a great evening. Highly recommend this place for both small and large groups—we’ll definitely be coming back!

On top of the great food, the staff really made the experience special. They were super friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was taken care of, even with our larger group. I also have to mention the Arnold Palmer—it was perfectly balanced and incredibly refreshing. From the food to the service to the atmosphere, Union on Yale is an absolute gem!

The Spicy Sausage Pasta is the best pasta to ever exist. Don’t sleep on the Bread and Butter - perfectly sweet and delicious and the best way to start a meal. Bang bang broccolini is bangin’. Great for date night, family dinners, friend catch-ups. I do recommend making a reservation, especially on holidays. Service and ambiance are always wonderful. Great friendly neighborhood vibe sitting on the patio. You may have to walk a bit for parking but the town is cute and walkable so that is a given.

Great shareable food, fresh menu, great cocktails. The fried chicken is not to be missed, cauliflower ceviche is unique and delicious, really enjoyed the avocado toast which was not only flavorful but had a beautiful presentation, the crispy roasted potatoes are out of this world. All the pizzas are delicious, lots of other fantastic shareable menu items, friendly service. Definitely will be back.

Absolute perfection best describes our meals. The Fried Chicken was a whole free range chicken cut up and was the most amazing delicious crispy battered chicken I've had EVER! How have I gone this long without trying this dish?!?! The flavor of the rosemary lemon brine was unbelievable! It was paired with the most perfectly seasoned fried potatoes. The Rigatoni pasta with sausage ricotta cheese broccoli melts in your mouth. The Union Pizza came with a unique blend of toppings that's sure to delightfully surprise you. The outdoor setting was nice and pleasant next to the heaters as we sat looking out toward the street and people watched as they passed by. Service was impeccable. Price was right for the quality and freshness of the meals.

The atmosphere here really steals the show. One feels like a mid-century dining experience cannot be replicated easily. However, this place has authentic decorations and pushes it to the top. The value is debatable however the menu reflects the quality of the Ambiance and the excellent service. Since I only came here for a brunch snack and got an appetizer I can say that the appetizer was great and the Singapore Sling was well done. My date was extremely pleased and would definitely consider coming back here for full dinner service.

7/9/22 update: I came here on my anniversary with my husband and made a reservation online a few hours ahead. We were seated immediately which was nice. We initially just asked for water, but I later ordered an iced tea which I never got (not a big deal, didn't bother reminding the waiter because we were pretty much done eating). We ordered and our food came out pretty quickly. We ordered the brussel sprouts, garden salad, margarita pizza, pesto pasta, and pan roasted chicken. Everything was pretty good, but the salad was a liiiiitle too boring (not sure it had any lemon vinaigrette on it or it was very very light) and the pasta under seasoned. The brussel sprouts, pizza, and chicken were great.

Original review: I came here for the first time and really enjoyed the food. We tried a little of everything and it was all delicious! The pizza was amazing, the fried chicken was amazing, the pasta was fresh and delicious.The service was good. I'd definitely come here again.

Went in early on a Friday night. Quick seating and friendly staff. . Ended up ordering the frites and Brussels sprouts for appetizers, and then we had a bunch of items off the dinner menu. Pizza was good, but the roasted chicken was EXCELLENT. Will be back again soon…
