The Fix is my go to lunch spot in Palm Desert. I love the outdoor seating on El Paseo for people watching. It’s dog friendly, the food is consistently excellent. I’ve had pretty much everything on the menu, never been disappointed. The best burger in town. The service is always great. I’m particularly fond of Israel, very upbeat and always happy. I also like the fact it’s an independent, locally owned establishment. If you’ve never been, go, you’ll love it!

The Fix has improved since last time I was there. It was always good, but today it was outstanding. The service and food were excellent, even down to the music playing. Literally the best bacon I have ever eaten!

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant on Thanksgiving night with my wife. First off, the staff was not friendly at all and informed us that the kitchen was closed, and they were only serving the chef's special pumpkin pie. We agreed, but when the pie arrived, it turned out to be two small pieces of Costco-made pumpkin pie—nothing special at all. One of the pieces was so tiny that we asked for a replacement, but they refused and insisted that this was all they had. To make matters worse, they charged us $10 per piece, even though the bill listed "carrot cake." When I asked about it, they explained that the pumpkin pie wasn’t on the menu, so they charged us for the carrot cake instead, claiming that the pie was "free" because the kitchen was closed and we weren't getting a full meal. This whole situation was frustrating and incredibly disappointing. Not only did we not get what was promised, but the entire experience was handled poorly. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

My husband and I ordered the wagu burger with sweet potato fries to share for lunch at the Fix. We were drawn to it because of its nice patio. When we got our meal, the fries were nice and hot, but the burger patty was cold and dried out. There was no mayo or any kind of condiment on the bun. The waiter did not return to check on us and we were under a bit of time pressure to leave. Finally, the server who offered water and coffee asked us if everything was okay. We expressed our concerns to him and he spoke to the manager promptly. They were standing within earshot. I saw the manager look over at us. I saw him look at our plates and he just walked on past us. No one came back to check on us. We ate the cold, dried out burger because we had to go and we were hungry. When our waiter came with the check, no apology or compensation of any kind was offered. We were not impressed and will not return.

Great outdoor setting. Loved our breakfast here. Excellent red pepper Pesto sauce.
Excellent Bacon. Much better than Cafe De Beaux Arts !

Love the new menu, hours, and interior redesign.

Great salads for lunch.

Kale salad was 5 stars and very filling. Quality ingredients!
Southwest was also excellent quality but 4.5 stars as it needed a better dressing or a BBQ/chipotle sauce drizzle or something for that extra half star. Regardless we would order both again.

Dog friendly patio was nice.

Love the indoor/outdoor bar. Even though it was closed today ? Patrons were even requesting. ?‍♀️

Friendly and efficient service.

Hands down the best outdoor lunch on El Paseo.

Move over Palm Springs, Palm Desert is the place to be! El Paseo is the Rodeo Drive of Palm Desert and the restaurant choices and food quality really speaks to that level of service.

The Fix on El Paseo is beautiful, with live music, amazing cocktails, and delicious food. The patio has plenty of shade or portable heaters, and there's cute flowers hanging in the planters around the patio.

During this visit, I enjoyed the ahi tartare with chips and the wedge salad. I paired everything with an espresso martini that was so tasty. Service was phenomenal and I would highly recommend saving room for dessert!

Great Breakfast menu! Chicken & Waffles, Short Rib sweets, eggs Benedict is amazing. Never fails, staff is super nice & friendly. Dog friendly restaurant. They now serve dinner which is awesome! Thank you for always giving us the best service!
